HOW IT WORKS

Collect, process, and review

1

Log each facility session

Enter the session type, facility name, date range, and hours. Covers edit suites, sound stages, colour suites, VFX facilities, and render farms.
2

Energy basis is flexible

Where a facility provides a metered kWh reading, it's used directly. Where metering isn't available, workstation or render node count is recorded and a benchmark factor is applied.
3

Sessions accumulate through post

The post supervisor logs sessions as they're booked and completed. The running total is available at any point during the post period.

WHY IT MATTERS

Post-production is the last major Albert category routinely left blank. Edit suites running 12-hour days for six weeks, overnight render farms, and cooled sound stages all carry measurable footprints that productions simply aren't capturing. This tool also creates benchmarks — edit-suite hours per finished minute, kWh per VFX shot — that become meaningful across productions.

Ready when you are.
